epilogue:
or ten things i learned while in south america:
1) murros means "walls." not "dead people."
2) peruvian/bolivan internet is s-l-o-w slow.
3) there is very little oxygen to go around at 4000m.
4) showers can be electric
5) americans are loud. (qualifier: i already knew this.)
6) it is perfectly acceptable for bolivian children to urinate whenever and where ever they chose.
7) alpaca is not only warm; it's tasty.
8) i love ice.
9) "i don't want to buy that from you" in spanish means: "please ask me again 20 times and, if necessary, follow me around for about a half an hour."
10) sometimes you have to pay to use the bathroom.
